Save A man had to be flown to hospital after being stung by insects at Lake Rotoehu this afternoon.
The 44-year-old Hamilton man was suffering a reaction to the stings, a statement from the Rotorua-based BayTrust Rescue Helicopter said.
He was treated at the scene and airlifted to Rotorua Hospital in
a comfortable condition for further assessment.
The helicopter was deployed as the site was isolated.
