One lucky Rotorua lotto player has a fatter wallet today after winning second division.

30 Lotto players around the country won $10,171 each including a ticket sold at Rotorua's Westend New World.

Taupo also saw the Powerball struck during the last night's draw with a winning ticket bought from Praters Four Square pulling in $13,422.

Three players in total won Powerball Second Division with the other two sold at Pak N Save Te Awamutu, and on MyLotto from a player in Christchurch.

Anyone who bought their ticket from any of these winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any Lotto outlet, online at mylotto.co.nz, or through Lotto NZ's ticket-checker smartphone app.

Powerball First Division was not struck and has rolled over to Saturday night where the jackpot will be $30 million.
