The show kicks off at 6pm with four acts, Native Nations, Dave and Christy-Lynn Breetvelt, Chris Webber, and Jono, performing.
Native Nations is husband and wife duo Marcus Ridge and Kateřina Ouředníková Pihera-Ridge.
Ridge is a Dine (Navajo), Cherokee and Hopi Native American out of Na'Neelzhiin, Wolf Stand, Torreon, New Mexico.
Pihera-Ridge is born and raised in Rotorua, from Ngati Rangiwewehi, Ngati Whakaue, Nga Puhi tribes as well as the Czech Republic.
She is also adopted into the Jemez Pueblo tribe of New Mexico.
"I'm excited to hear this duo due to the cross-over of genres and style, earthly rhythms and prophet like content of their work. A cross between hip hop, reggae and rap," said Mrs Vincent.
Dave Breetvelt is a folk musician, born and raised in Rotorua and enjoys easy listening songs with a good melody. He is performing with Christy-Lynn Breetvelt and they are a family where all of them enjoy playing music.
"He writes about his faith and relationship with his maker. A very positive young man, bright eyes and lovely smile," according to Mrs Vincent.
Webber is an easy-going guitar playing musician "who fits in wherever he plays." From high-end corporate functions to easy listening during happy hour at Prince's Gate, Webber enjoyed sharing his music, she said.
"I've been fortunate to hear his originals, including a waiata for his iwi at Kapiti Coast. He has an incredibly interesting story. Chris' music is influenced by Spanish/Flamenco and he also uses a loop pedal to build up extra layers in his live performances. I hope Chris will play his songs about his family and how important whanau is. Beautiful songs."
Jono is a local music therapist and teaches music.
"He writes meaningful originals and usually plays cover sets at Terrace Kitchen and other places in town. He has great musical ability and he did attend a pop-up recording studio session where we were treated to his originals. I can't wait to hear more polished versions of what I heard last year," said Mrs Vincent.
Each music month concert, will hand out the 'Loudest Clap Award'.
"Literally the musician who charms the audience for their applause will go through to the finale on May 27."
If you want to perform during Music Month, contact Mrs Vincent on 021 0238 1057 or turn up on the night with your instrument. "There might be a slot open for you."
