Police Ten 7 is reality
Re the controversy over the Police Ten 7 show.
How can the truth be racist? It's whose eyes you look through that could make it racist, but the overpowering factor is it is the truth - full stop.
This programme is so successful because people see their mates breaking the law and dob them in.
No one wants to be a victim so instead of taking a backward step in fighting crime I suggest the politicians butt out and mind their own business.

Police show well produced
"We're trying to portray an accurate portrayal of what the police are doing out in the streets."
So says Philly de Lacey, the chief executive of the Police Ten 7 production company, and having watched it on and off for many years I have no reason to think differently.
Police appear, by their continued support, to endorse this format and have been at pains to respond responsibly to any charges of racism in their ranks that have surfaced.
Equality, colour and racial bias seem to flavour contemporary society to the exclusion of almost everything else.
There is only one race, it's called the human race, and the differing cultures, colours, traditions are simply variances within this genus. (Abridged)
