I have just walked past Rydges, the isolation hotel in Fenton Street.
The gutter is clogged with debris from the big gum trees.
No one seems to be taking responsibility for this.
Council tells me Fenton St is a state highway therefore not its responsibility.
The New Zealand Transport Agency is the caretaker.
I tried Googling the appropriate contact details and all I got was confusion.
So who is going to get rid of this mess before the next heavy rain?
