They too deserve care.

City in a terrible state
Not another motel being used for emergency housing (News, May 8).
I thought Rotorua Lakes Council was saying "no" to any more motels and hotels in the city being used for the homeless and emergency housing.
Our once beautiful city -- and yes, we won that award a number of times -- is now in a terrible state.

'Plain theft'
When my bank rang to tell me they would no longer accept cheques I unearthed several unused cheque books.
I noticed that stamp duty had been paid on each cheque.
I applied to the bank for a refund to be told that the Government no longer refunded the stamp duty.
In my opinion, this is plain theft.
