Grave disservice
Tania Tapsell deserves praise for pointing out that Reynold Macpherson, an elected representative, was due respect, which was in my opinion shamefully denied.
He should have been allowed his right to free speech in the debate on Māori wards at last Friday's council meeting.
The voters and residents of Rotorua have, in my view, been done a grave disservice and denied their democratic rights.

Plant deciduous trees
It's that time of the year again when trees lose their leaves which block up drains, cost money to clean up, and add nutrients to our waterways.
Why does the council plant deciduous trees?
