Once done the effect is permanent.
Instead, councils need to plan properly for higher-density areas with suitable public transport and relevant services.

Waste of money
Tatau Tatau magazine is a waste of ratepayers' money.
Ratepayers don't need a council sales pitch in the form of a glossy magazine.
The editions are not even worth the paper they're written on.
Council needs to stop the luxuries and the "nice to haves" as the ratepayers simply can't afford it.

Short-sighted
It's all very well for sideline commentators to openly criticise the Government's actions in that a state-controlled society is beginning to be seen. The critics of the Government cite huge attendances at sports and other events overseas.
However, it is short-sighted.
Do we want the formidable deaths and overrun hospitals in other countries or the short sharp pain of lockdowns and careful adherence to our medical and science experts?
It's a no-brainer. Critics should tighten their No 8 belts and support rather than detract from what's best for everyone.
