And to the communities who fundraised for us or gave generously online when we couldn't take to the streets with our collection buckets, we are so grateful. Your support ensures that despite these uncertain times we can continue to be there for people impacted by cancer.

Phone numbers, please
I have sent an email to Rotorua Lakes Council explaining the issue of cash-paying ratepayers who did not have internet banking in paying their rates on August 20.
There was no mention on the Covid page about making payment.
I was concerned with the penalty fees the council would charge on unpaid rates.
The council building to the public is still closed, which is alarming for people wanting to pay their rates.
Please council, advise details of people who are contactable by phone.

Near-empty parliament a farce
I, too, am in the camp that does not see the point in a physical parliament.
No need to cling to old-school methods, we have so much technology at our disposal now.
A near-empty parliament insisted upon by National and Act was a farce.
Get with the times, forget political differences and unite against this enemy, which has the potential to infect anybody, regardless of their political persuasion.
