I wish to voice my approval and appreciation for the work being done by our MP, Todd McClay.
I continue to be impressed by Todd McClay and National. He's delivered schools, roads, money to clean up our lakes, support for tourism, a Housing Accord, more state houses and now four-laningof Te Ngae Rd. The numerous achievements can be seen all around us, every day in our vibrant city.
A local MP who's busy in the community and a successful Trade Minister - keep up the great work Todd!
ALEX ROOT-REED Rotorua
Bring on good news Jobs, development, growth. It seems the Rotorua Daily Post is full of good news these days (Saturday, September 16). Once upon a time the papers would not have been so positive. Rotorua looks good and feels good.
In my opinion the many problems facing out country today can only be solved by cutting back on immigration. As we are all aware overcrowding causes many problems. To name a few - infrastructure, sewage, landfills, hospitals filled to overflowing, housing, job shortages, environmental issues etc.
We need our beautiful Aotearoa to be as it once was. High immigration is all very well but at what cost?
