How does the council's investment in a special "I can See U" car to observe whether a motor vehicle has a current registration or WOF help increase parking facilities in town?.
A great revenue grabber but not a parking opportunity provider. I read that the system will also eventually be able to check if a vehicle has been in a space longer than paid for and the offender subsequently fined.
Will it also establish if the motorist has paid for a longer time than used and issue a
refund? Will the new i-PARK scan car be able also to establish if a car parked in a disabled space is entitled to do so?
I guess a saving in white chalk to mark tyres will also help parking revenue.
