I am an elderly absent-minded woman living with a husband who has dementia. Twice in the last few months I have left my handbag in a shopping trolley outside Countdown in Fairy Springs Rd. Each time I have driven home to find I am without my handbag. Feeling almost sick with anxiety, I have returned to Countdown and found that it has been handed in intact. No one seems to know who did this but I would very much like to thank both of the people responsible and to say how grateful I am to live in such an honest community.
I would like to add that I have just bought myself a new handbag with a long strap so I can wear it across my body so hopefully I won't put anyone else to the test!

Not often I agree with the government but this time I have to. I am still working - at 84, simply because I am able to. I know many men and women over 65 who are working, many running their own businesses. My grandfather was well into his 60s when he quit work - and he had cancer.
The fastest way to an early grave - stop doing anything! Use it or lose it is the way to think. I would even go so far as to make the retirement age 70 - that way you would have far less pensioners unable to stay healthy, believe me, the worst enemy of old age is the couch!
