As the Vatican took some 350 years to accept Galileo, it may take Creationists another 200 years to accept Darwin.

Loving the healer

Many people think that I always believed in God and always believed that He created the world.

Actually the reverse is true: I was raised in an atheist, militant, socialist home, being left to roam the streets, stealing, during my teens and finally going on to become a drug grower and user (losing my mind) before I was 20.....

Then, as I often say, Jesus delivered me and turned me into the shining example of citizenry I am today (that's irony).

I don't need to believe that God created the world: it is evident to me that He did. Nobody made me love Jesus and go to church: I go to church because Jesus is so great that I want to be with Him. If somebody gave you a beautiful new mind and healed your emotions, forgave your sins and gave you a new life, you'd love them too.

Let me quote Confucius to give some advice to GJ Philips.

Confucius said: " gentleman never stops learning and strengthening himself, but learning without thinking can be confusing, and thinking without learning can be dangerous."
Hence for my friend GJP, start learning O level maths/physics/chemistry/biology, then move to A level, before we can begin to talk about the origin of human beings or universe.
