There's just a few days left for Rotorua organisations to apply for help with operational costs – or risk waiting another three years.
Rotorua Trust's next operating cost grant cycle is now open, with $550,000 set aside to be given out over each of the next three years.
Rotorua Trust chairman Stewart Edward encouraged Rotorua-based organisations that met the criteria to get applications in before the 5pm close off on Friday November 9, as the trust only offered the funding every three years.
"The funding can go towards some of the expensive day-to-day operating costs such as rent, rates, insurance or electricity – items that are essential for organisations which want to help the community but are difficult to get funding for."
Edward said most funders preferred to target specific projects.
