A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said they received a call at 1.13pm about an incident on SH30 Kinleith.
“We responded with two ambulances, one rapid response vehicle, one helicopter, and one operations manager.”
The spokesperson said two patients, one in serious condition and one in moderate condition, were taken to Waikato Hospital by helicopter and ambulance.
A Greenlea Rescue Helicopter crew attended the scene.
