Flipping pancakes might be a regular Sunday morning tradition in many households but, after flipping more than 100, Jordan Jones thinks she might steer clear of them for a wee while.
The Rotaract Rotorua president put on her apron and got behind the frying pan yesterday, as part of a charity breakfast fundraiser to raise money for the Rotorua Lakes Volunteer Coastguard.
Miss Jones said the event raised about $400 for the organisation.
"People filtered in and we whipped up the pancakes and fried up some bacon."
Miss Jones said she came up with the idea because it was something a bit different from a sausage sizzle, but still easy enough to make.
