Judging by the talent on display, Rotorua could have some future ice skating stars.
Keen skating enthusiasts got to see some of the most talented figure skaters and ice hockey players in the country when they showed off their skills at a special exhibition at the Harcourts ice skating rink this weekend.
Paradice co-owner Rosie Armstrong said the exhibition had been really popular, with hundreds of people watching the displays over the weekend.
She said one of the most positive parts was the skaters sticking around afterwards to offer free lessons and advice to those trying their hand at skating on the temporary rink.
Mrs Armstrong said the skaters got great satisfaction seeing people who previously couldn't skate doing laps of the rink and doing some basic tricks like twirls.
