She said they included foundation members, present and past committee and staff members, local elderly people, and people/businesses who had supported and given the service donations over the years.
Miss Wilton said they acknowledged Jane Maisey, "the first staff member employed in 1996, who had been here from the very beginning", and also staff member Margie Goldsworthy, who had been with the service for 10 years.
Miss Wilton said the current staff and committee members were all presented with engraved wine glasses in recognition of their current work.
She said there had been a number of highlights throughout the 20 years, including receiving a car for the service in 2014 and room renovations last year.
It was then able to employ a receptionist in September last year, becauseuntil then it operated with a drop-in service where people arrived and sat down, to be the next person seen by the nurse.
Now there was "a friendly face" to welcome people, she said.
Health Reporoa is a rural primary health care service funded by Lakes DHB and ACC Nursing Services Contract.
It includes home visits, school visits, and nurse-led drop-in clinics based in Reporoa, Kaingaroa, industry sites and Reporoa College.
The service covers the areas of Reporoa, Waikite Valley, Rerewhakaaitu and Kaingaroa.
It is run by a volunteer committee and currently has eight paid staff made up of five nurses, a community support worker in Kaingaroa, a receptionist and a manager.
