Ten new graffiti art murals have sprung up across Taupō's CBD over Labour Weekend with Graffiato returning for its 12th year.

The street art festival showcased locals and artists from across the North Island, who created ten new artworks on commercial premises throughout the town centre.

This year’s batch brings the total number of murals in Taupō to over 90.

The event saw two Taupō artists, Tāne Lawless and Indy King, create works in the town - King for the first time, and Lawless for the seventh.
