Rotorua golfer Danny Lee has withdrawn from his latest PGA Tour event in Malaysia after an injury to his finger.
Lee withdrew midway through the third round at the CIMB Classic in Malaysia on Saturday with what looked to be a blister on his hand.
Lee shot a one-over 73 and three-under 68 during the first two rounds, before pulling out after nine holes in the third round. He was a long way down the leaderboard when he withdrew.
He posted a photo of his finger on Twitter on Saturday with what looked to be a big blister. "So mad at my finger right now!!!!," he said.
The CIMB Classic is only the third event of the new PGA Tour season, and the first Lee has taken part in this season.
