Rotorua's Danny Lee has recorded a four-under par first round at the latest PGA Tour event in Connecticut, less than a week after his disappointing display at the US Open.
Lee carded a 66 in his first round this morning at the Travelers Championship in Connecticut, four shots behind leader Bubba Watson who recorded an eight-under 62 this morning.
Lee is currently tied-15th.
Lee played in the second golf major of his career last weekend at the 115th US Open but missed the cut by a long way at Chambers Bay.
He tees off in his second round at the Travelers Championship tomorrow morning at 4.25am (NZT).
