Michelle says the expo has more than 300 pieces, starting from $10. There will be 30 pieces that have no price and will be sold under blind auction.
Artist Maxine Thompson will be creating animal portraits on site and some artists will be donating a portion of their sales to various charities, including the SPCA, Riding for the Disabled and Friends of the Museum.
Multiple artists will be on site every day drawing or painting, and to mingle and chat.

She says it is great so many Bay of Plenty artists can come together at the expo, to expand their relationships and to have a venue where everyone can show their talent.
Michelle encourages people to come along because there is something for everyone, including fine art all from local people from different backgrounds.
She says they also want to expand the group and increase their numbers, and bring new life, new art and new connections to the group.
