Last year's Rotorua Supper Club event was described as "out of the stratosphere" by organiser Rob Parry.

This year things look set to go even further.

The Supper Club raises funds for the Ronald McDonald House Family Retreats at Ngongotaha. The retreats provide an opportunity for sick children and their families to get away from it all in Rotorua.

Parry said the 43 tables for this year's March 7 event had all been sold.

"We're lucky that, as soon as one year finishes, almost everyone in attendance books for the next year's Supper Club.

"It's nice to have that happen each time as sales are one of the more important things we have to do."

He said one of the big tickets items on offer this year was a holiday package Parry described as "amazing".

"The generosity of Deborah Kay from Helloworld Rotorua is overwhelming."

Details of the different dining options on the night and a list of auction prizes will also be released over the next weeks leading up to the event.

Parry maintains the Supper Club event is an annual showcase of the best of the Rotorua community.

On the evening, an auction is held before a draw is held, determining which table will dine at each local restaurant.

Linley Parry, on behalf of the Supper Club organising committee, said the event would be another special Rotorua night.
