Teechers is about three 16-year-old high school students who put on performance about their new drama teacher's time at the school and how he inspires them.
Steve says the three actors in the cast play about 20 characters between them.
He says the show was written in the 80s and was an attack on the education system - how the education system was failing the students and the teachers.
It is a challenging and fast-paced show for the performers since it has a lot of changes, he says.
Steve says it is not conventional play and is told in pieces which are broken up by music.
"Hopefully it will leave the crowd thinking and feeling touched."
He says it is an English play performed by three English actors and directed by Englishman, so it was important to them personally.
Steve says rehearsals have been going great, and the cast and crew have been working hard.
"We are ready to rock and roll, and the audience will bring another layer.
"They are ready for an audience."
He says this performance has stayed true to the original script and 80s music is being used.
He encourages people to go along and support the theatre.
"We've had a diverse year at the theatre with a real range of different genres.
"I think people will love it if they come and watch it."
Steve says the show has some mature content, but would be acceptable for high school students.
