Ngongotaha AFC will get their Chatham Cup campaign under way on Anzac Day, as they look to repeat their success from last season.
Ngongotaha went deep into the Chatham Cup last year making it all the way to the final 16 teams in the country, before being beaten 2-1 by Melville United from Hamilton.
The Chatham Cup is New Zealand's premier knock-out football competition which has been running for 92 years. No Rotorua club has ever won the cup, but Rotorua City made the final in 1989.
Ngongotaha have been drawn against little-known Colo Boys FC (Auckland) in the qualifying round tomorrow. That match is at Stembridge Rd in Ngongotaha at 2pm.
Ngongotaha will then play a catch-up game in the WaiBOP Premiership on Monday afternoon against Tauranga Boys' College.
