A concrete company is paving the way for the Boulevard Gardens project in Rotorua's Kuirau Park.
Firth has teamed up with Rotorua Lakes Council to provide concrete products in a sponsorship deal for the project, which will redevelop the park to create five new feature gardens and a new entranceway.
It follows an earlier grant from the Francis Moss Boord Trust that kicked off construction of the boulevard last month.
As well as supplying concrete, Firth is also providing paving products to form the new entranceway into Kuirau Park, next to the intersection of Haupapa and Ranolf streets.
Firth spokesman Phil Hunt said the company was delighted to be partnering with the council on such an important community project.
