A fire has been attended to at a house on Kaharoa Rd.
Fire communications shift manager Daniel Nicholson said the fire service attended a job where smoke was showing from a roof.
He said a fire was found in the ceiling and everyone was out of the house.
Fire extinguishers were now being used to dampen fown hot spots.
