The Alexanders are delighted to finally have a base in Auckland after many years of speculation and promise.
"Simply put, the Auckland base is there to aid our current clientele get better access to our services for the many Auckland events we do each year," Mrs Alexander said.
"We hope new clients will seize the opportunity now we have a local base. This will enhance our nationwide service abilities and we will continue to have a large base in Rotorua," she said.
Mr and Mrs Alexander began Event Impressions in 2002 and the business has grown steadily ever since.
From its White St base in Rotorua, the team has transformed thousands of event venues all over the country, now earning the title as one of New Zealand's most accomplished event creators.
Tonight, Event Impressions has again been given the honour to theme the final gala dinner for Meetings in Auckland, an annual conventions and incentives trade show.
Event Impressions first took on the role in 2011, after the event was rushed to Rotorua following the major earthquake in Christchurch.
They created an event called Shuffle, reflecting the shuffling nature of the last-minute changes. Event Impressions were again given the job of theming the final dinner at Meetings last year in Auckland.
Mrs Alexander said opening the Auckland base was a natural progression after servicing the city from Rotorua for several years.
"There has been a huge shift in business to Auckland and we are already seeing more inquiries since opening our office. But this is an addition, not a substitute for Rotorua. We will continue to work for clients all over New Zealand from our Rotorua base."
