Entries for the 2018 BDO Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge are about to open.
The early bird entries open this Friday. The event is New Zealand's largest cycling occasion, and is expecting 6000 riders and more than 9000 supporters.
This is the 42nd year the event has run and there are 14 different event categories from 5km to 160km.
The event is on November 24 this year and the event director is Debbie Chambers.
The categories are 5km kids' ride, 16km, 35km, 40km, 60km, 80km, 85km and 160km.
