Emergency services have been called to an incident in central Rotorua where a car has collided with a pedestrian.

A police media spokeswoman said they were called by St John Ambulance at 12.27pm to the corner of Arawa and Fenton Sts.

A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics were at the scene and transported one patient to Rotorua Hospital with minor injuries.
