Whether you love it or hate it, most people seem to know what The GC is.
You only have to log into Facebook to see the newsfeed fill up with comments about The GC after each episode - a lot of the comments being negative.
What's funny about this is the fact that all of those complaining about the show seem to know who the reality stars are and all about them. They moan about the show and the stars, yet they still watch it. Their response is ... nothing better is on the television at that time. Do they not realise that a television show with high ratings is unlikely to be pulled off the telly? Do they not realise that they don't have to be sitting in front of the television at that time? It seems not.
What disturbs me just a tad is the fact that people can be very mean.
When someone is pretty much just doing his or her craft - whether it be one of the actors on The GC, a sportsman, a musician or a dancer - people can be quick to judge ... and attack. They head to Facebook or Twitter telling the world how much they hate someone, how much a certain person annoys them or how useless someone is. Musicians are often a target, with people saying they can't even sing, they're painful to watch or they should stick to their day jobs.
