Arts, crafts and one-of-a-kind items are the mainstay of the Soundshell Market, which is on both days this weekend.

The market is a regular feature throughout the year but it comes to life in summer with lots of stalls and weekend events.

The market will be held tomorrow and on Sunday.

Many of the stallholders are from out of town, coming from places such as Taupo, Tokoroa and Hamilton, but there are also some local faces in the mix.

Cobalt Heights is an online store run from a Rotorua home, but the Soundshell Market is one of the few places you can get your hands on their wares immediately.

Owner Sian Roberts is Rotorua born and bred and has memories of going to the market as a child - now she loves to meet the customers herself.
