Clout smashed six sixes, including four off five balls, to reach 45 not out.
While Mount Maunganui made a measured start to chasing the big target, Greerton quick Dan Spencer caused havoc with the ball to see the Mount side bowled out for just 95.
Spencer returned bowling figures of 6/24.
In Rotorua, the Otumoetai Cadets had a quick trip to the city to play Bay of Plenty Indian Sports at Boord Park. Indian Sports batted first and were removed for 101. Cadets allrounder Ben Christensen, who blasted a century last weekend, was in good form with the ball, taking four wickets for 34.
The Cadets strolled to victory without losing a wicket.
In the other premier game, Te Puke joined Greerton and Cadets on maximum points after two rounds of the Cup. They comfortably defeated Tauranga Boys' College at the Te Puke Domain by 142 runs.
