"Although we are going for the treble this is the one trophy we have had our eyes on all season."
He said the club had been around for 23 years and had been in the after-Christmas championship final on about five occasions, but had never won.
Collier said his team fought hard to make it to the final this season, after almost missing out on the semifinals, and they were pumped for the match. He said a number of past club players and members were coming from out of town to watch the game today.
Indians team manager Mehul Chhagan said it should be a great match at Smallbone Park.
"The boys are all pretty geed up for the game. They are all pretty excited."
He said it would be a great achievement if the club could reclaim the reserve grade title today.
"The first time we won it in 33 years was 2005/2006, and we managed to win it a couple of years after that and that was what sparked us to go up into the premier grade.
"So our depth is really showing, seeing our reserve-grade team do so well."
The Indians have a strong batting lineup with the team chasing down big totals on a couple of occasions this season.
However, the classy batting lineup will face a strong bowling attack. Geyser bowled Taupo Old Boys all out for 54 in their semifinal last weekend.
The match will include neutral umpires during the game.
