Two people have been treated for injuries following a crash involving a bus south of Rotorua.
A police spokesman said police were called to the crash involving a bus and another vehicle at the intersection of State Highway 38 and SH5 about 8.20am.
“It is understood 11 passengers were on the bus at the time of the collision, and one was among two people were treated for minor injuries at the scene,” the spokesman said.
A St John spokeswoman said two ambulances and one rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene and one patient was taken to Rotorua Hospital in a moderate condition.
Police were making inquiries into the cause of the crash.
