Rotorua residents have been without power this morning after a car crash on Pukehangi Rd.
A Police North Communications spokesman said police, fire and ambulance were called to Pukehangi Rd around 6.30am as a car had hit a powerpole.
The powerpole had been knocked down.
The driver was taken to the police station to be breathalysed. No one was injured.
Unison communications manager Danny Gough said 211 customers had been affected and they hoped to have power restored by 12pm.
