He's swapped the luxury of his Ford Falcon for the somewhat cramped confines of an old Mini for a charity roadie that Steve Priest hopes might save the odd life.
The general manager of Corys Electrical, along with the company's commercial manager Marcel Van der Park, rolled into Rotorua this week as part of a whirlwind tour of the country as part of Blue September, raising awareness of, and money for, the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
The pair, Mr Priest in the mini and Mr Van der Park in support in the campervan, are visiting all 44 Corys Electrical branches.
Mr Priest said having a male-dominated workforce in an industry which supplied mainly men, they felt the cause was the perfect one to support.
The various branches organised their own activities including a BBQ, mini golf challenge and darts challenge while the pair dropped in along the way.
