Delegates will fly in from Canada, the US, Japan, Australia, South Africa, The Netherlands, Scotland and England. They will also enjoy tours around Rotorua and New Zealand, with all keen to take advantage of the beautiful scenery.
One of the convention highlights will be the International Speech Contest, as the best speechmakers from a number of countries vie for the honour of achieving first place. Those who have English as a second language can speak in the Cosmopolitan Speech Contest.
The workshops to be presented will cover professional development, communication and workshops with an international flavour. It will not be all work, The Beat Girls, a trio of New Zealand singers who will dazzle the delegates, will be performing at the Convention Black and White formal dinner.
Members of the public have the opportunity to watch on Monday July 20, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, at the Novotel Lakeside. Cost is $20.
