Colour the Night cancelled

Colour the Night, that was to be held in Rotorua's central city tonight from 5pm to 8pm, has been cancelled.

According to The Arts Village acting manager, Kay Hall, the event did not have a postponement date and due to impending bad weather in the Bay of Plenty staff decided early to cancel the event.

The free event involves local spaces and organisations opening their doors to showcase their art, music, dance and food.

"This has been a difficult decision to make, but due to severe weather conditions and the impact on health and safety, we have had to cancel this year's event," she said.
