The redevelopment of the former City Focus is now expected to be finished in the first week of September, after bad weather delayed the work.
The revised completion date of Te Manawa was revealed to councillors at Thursday's Operations and Monitoring Committee meeting.
In a story last week, Rotorua Lakes Council strategic development manager Portia McKenzie told the Rotorua Daily Post recent wet and stormy weather had slowed progress.
This is not the first setback the project has had. Originally expected to finish mid-July, the work had to be put off while contractors took on emergency work after the Edgecumbe flood.
Ms McKenzie said contractors had completed site levelling work and installation of services including storm water, irrigation ducting and street light cabling.
