A Rotorua business owner facing drug charges has had his case adjourned.
David Ronald Young, 51, appeared briefly in the Rotorua District Court this morning.
He had previously pleaded not guilty to two counts of possession of a Class C controlled drug, Trifluoromethylphenylpiperazine (TFMPP) and a charge of possession of the Class C controlled drug, Benzylpiperazine (BZP) as well as possessing, manufacturing and selling psychoactive substances.
Young is the owner of Pukuatua St store Skingraft, which sold synthetic cannabis, or legal highs, until they were banned in May last year.
Judge Philip Cooper remanded Young on continuing bail to reappear on July 3.
