A car has flipped on State Highway 5 between Rotorua and Taupō. Photo / File

Emergency services attended a scene where a car flipped on State Highway 5 between Rotorua and Taupō this morning.

A police spokesman said they were called to the scene near Palmer Mill Rd at 11.30am.

No one was injured in the incident and fire and ambulance services also attended, he said.

A clean up of the scene was ongoing and there had been an oil spill.
