A car has crashed into parked cars outside Westbrook School this afternoon.

A police spokeswoman said the car was seen driving at high speeds on Malfroy Rd before "collecting a few parked cars" outside the school.

Members of the public detained the occupants of the car who appeared to be youths, she said.

Police arrived at the scene at 2.40pm.

No one was injured in the incident and police inquiries are continuing, the police spokeswoman said.
