Concerns about a group of people holding what looked like a rifle has sparked an armed police call out in Sunnybrook.

A police spokeswoman said police recieved a call from a member of the public saying the group were seen at the back of a Pegasus Drive property holding what looked like a rifle but could have been a slug gun or BB gun.

No shots were heard, she said.
