Police are still needing public help in their investigation of a sexual assault on a young woman in Te Teko.
The incident took place on Monday afternoon, September 1.
Eastern Bay of Plenty police Detective Sergeant Anthony Hay said they wanted to speak with anyone who may have been in a vehicle parked in the car park area of Eivers Park adjacent to
State Highway 30 on September 1 between 3pm and 4pm.
"We are particularly interested to speak with the driver and any occupants of a black vehicle and a light blue vehicle possibly a light truck that was seen parked there during this time," Mr Hay said.
"Anyone in these or other vehicles which stopped in the carpark during this time may have information that would assist the investigation and we ask that they contact us. Regardless of how small a piece of information is, get in touch".
