"To know that our work is just as good as the work anywhere else in the country - that people love what we do."
She said she was already working on next summer's show.
"It'll be bigger and better and crazier than the last one," she said.
"They always are."
Mrs Romanes said she was in discussions with a venue and production company in Auckland who were keen to bring a show to the nation's largest city.
"We've been doing our own entertainment for the last four years and it's starting to be noticed by an Auckland crowd, and they have been impressed.
"We think some of our productions would be suitable for an Auckland audience. Potentially there's an opportunity to hold a show up there by mid-year," she said.
-The Comedy Cabaret plays at the Blue Baths every night this week at 8pm, with the final night on Friday.
