Rotorua businesses can get in on the spring cheer while supporting a good cause, with the Cancer Society's annual pre-sale of fresh daffodils getting under way.
From this week the Cancer Society will start selling bunches of 30 daffodils for $35, to be delivered free to businesses during the week of Daffodil Day, on August 29.
"We do the pre-sale of daffodils every year and businesses love it," said Cancer Society spokeswoman Rachael Mounsey.
The pre-sale gave businesses an opportunity to display their support for the Cancer Society.
The Cancer Society receives no direct government funding so relies on the generosity of local communities to operate.
