A Rotorua bus driver who caused a scooter to crash will try and get off without a criminal conviction, a court has heard.
Malcolm Edward McNeill, 54, pleaded guilty in the Rotorua District Court on Wednesday to careless driving causing injury on February 17.
According to the police summary of facts, McNeill was driving a bus down Amohau St about 4.30pm, behind the victim on her 50cc motor scooter.
