The Christmas with a Punch corporate fight night is all set to go ahead in Rotorua tomorrow, with 32 locals prepared to slug it out in the ring.

The fight night is being held at the Rotorua Girls' High School arena with the first fight set for 7.30pm.

It is the third time the RotoVegas Boxing Gym has organised the event, which sees local personalities, business people and sportspeople go toe-to-toe in the ring.

Event organiser Aaron Warren said he would have a few words of advice to share with the fighters during the weigh-in tonight at the RotoVegas Boxing Gym.

"I will just let them know that they have done all they can, and when they step through the ropes they just need to give it all they've got," Warren said.

He said there would definitely be some anxious fighters leading up to the event, but they were all winners already for having a go.

"There is a lot of people who mentioned that they are nervous as and can't wait to get in there."

Limited tickets are still available for $25 through Ticketmaster. Read tomorrow's Rotorua Daily Post for the updated fight card.
