A section of State Highway 33 in Western Bay of Plenty that was closed following a truck crash this morning has been reopened.
A police spokeswoman said no one was believed to have been hurt when a truck was crashed into a bank south of Paengaroa, 30 kilometres east of Tauranga, about 4am.
However, there were cordons at Okere Falls and at Hamurana intersection on SH33, she said.
The New Zealand Transport Agency also tweeted that SH33 was closed south of Paengaroa.
The Agency announced the road was open again about 9.10am.
